In July, Dr. Sullivan received the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. The Convocation ceremony took place in Orlando, Florida. We are all very proud of Dr. Sullivan as this is a very prestigious award. It is one that is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. Dr. Sullivan completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD in order to receive the award. The Fellowship Award symbolizes his excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
AGD President, Paula Jones, DDS. FAGD said, “Dr. Sullivan’s accomplishment shows his allegiance to the profession and commitment to ensuring his patients receive excellent oral health care. The challenging process of becoming a Fellow exemplifies Dr. Sullivan’s dedication to continuing education and distinguishes him professionally in the dental community.”
While in Florida, Dr. Sullivan spent his days in continuing education classes and lectures in an effort to provide optimum care for his patients. He was able to join his family for a couple of hours each evening for some fun at Disneyworld and Universal Studios.
